In olden times, there was a film called JUMANJI. This was 21 years ago in 1995. It had the acting talents of Robin Williams, Kirsten Dunst and David Alan Grier among others. It was all about an intense board game called Jumanji. Playing it was utterly dangerous and the results could change your life irrevocably. The movie had great action, funny gags and some early CG animals that are very obvious two decades later, but were great back then.
Welcome to now. Four teenagers are in detention and they find the game Jumanj., And although the game is old, it’s moved on from the original. It’s a video game now and these kids have never heard of it. They elect to play it and are immediately thrust into Jumanji’s jungle setting and into the bodies of their avatars, played by Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, and Karen Gillan.
What they discover is that you don’t just play Jumanji –Jumanji plays you. They have to go on the most dangerous adventure of their lives, or they’ll be stuck in the game forever. JUMANJI: WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE hits Australia screens on Boxing Day 2017. Enjoy the trailer. And the G N’ R.
